Designed for experienced divers, the SSI Advanced Wreck specialty course teaches you how to safely enter wrecks. You will master the use of a guide line, navigation techniques in confined spaces, as well as risk management and emergency procedures specific to this type of diving. A technical adventure supervised by a certified instructor.

Program
Day 1: Introduction to wreck penetration diving: review of safety procedures, preparation and inspection of specialized equipment, and buoyancy control. Confined water exercises including the setup and use of guide lines, communication with light signals, and navigation in simple confined spaces.
Day 2: Practical application on a real wreck: advanced dive planning, progressive penetration into more complex areas, light management and redundant equipment use, and handling simulated emergency scenarios (lost line, light failure). Skills evaluation, debriefing, and recommendations for continuing to safely dive on wrecks.
